Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to https://profitailab.one (the “Site”) and your relationship with Profit AI Lab Inc. (“Profit AI Lab,” “we,” “us”) when you browse content, submit enquiries, register for income courses, or purchase services. By using the Site or enrolling in programmes, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our services.

1. Who we are

Profit AI Lab Inc. is a Canadian corporation providing adult education focused on earning more with AI — freelance income, career advancement, and billable client services. Our registered office is 444 7 Avenue SW, Suite 2100, Calgary, Alberta T2P 0X8, Canada. Contact: [email protected].

2. Educational nature; no guaranteed outcomes

Programmes, workshops, and services are educational. We teach skills, frameworks, and income methods. We do not guarantee income, revenue, employment, business growth, or specific commercial results. AI tools, markets, and regulations evolve; your outcomes depend on your effort, context, compliance, and application of course skills. Nothing on the Site or in cohort materials constitutes financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Consult licensed professionals for those matters.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen years old to enrol or contract for services. By registering, you represent that information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to bind any organisation you represent. We may refuse or cancel enrolment where capacity is full, prerequisites are unmet, or conduct risks harm to learners or staff.

4. Site use rules

You agree not to: (a) misuse the Site or attempt unauthorised access; (b) scrape or harvest data except as permitted by robots.txt; (c) upload malware or unlawful content via forms; (d) impersonate others; (e) use our brand or materials to imply endorsement without permission; (f) harass coaches, learners, or staff. We may suspend access for violations.

5. Enrolment, fees, and payment

Programme fees are quoted in Canadian dollars (C$) unless stated otherwise. GST or other applicable taxes may apply. Payment terms are specified at checkout or in a written quote for corporate income training. Failure to pay by the due date may result in cancellation of your seat. Payment plans, if offered, are subject to separate schedules; default may void instalment arrangements.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Unless a written agreement states otherwise:

• Learner cancellation more than fourteen (14) days before cohort start: refund of tuition paid minus a C$75 administration fee, processed within fourteen business days.
• Learner cancellation within fourteen (14) days of start: no cash refund; we may offer a one-time credit toward a future course within twelve months, subject to availability.
• No-show: tuition is forfeited.
• Our cancellation: if we cancel a cohort, you may choose a full refund or transfer to another date.

Services and studio rentals follow the cancellation window stated in your booking confirmation. Corporate contracts may supersede this section.

7. Intellectual property

Site content, curricula, templates, rubrics, and branding are owned by Profit AI Lab or licensors. Enrolment grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use materials for your own learning and internal business use. You may not resell, publicly redistribute, or create competing courses from our materials without written consent. You retain ownership of work you create in cohorts; you grant us a limited licence to display anonymised excerpts for educational examples if you opt in.

8. Learner conduct

Income training requires respectful participation. Disruption, discrimination, plagiarism, sharing another learner’s confidential work, or introducing client data without redaction may result in removal without refund. Recording sessions is prohibited unless we provide written permission. Hybrid participants must maintain professional backgrounds and stable connections where reasonably possible.

9. Tools and third-party services

You may need third-party AI tools or subscriptions. We do not control vendor terms, pricing, outages, or model behaviour. Your use of external tools is at your own risk and subject to those vendors’ policies. We may demonstrate tools for teaching; demonstration is not an endorsement.

10. Privacy

Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy and PIPEDA. By submitting forms or enrolling, you consent to necessary processing as described there.

11. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SITE OPERATION.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PROFIT AI LAB INC. AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND COACHES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO A PROGRAMME OR SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THAT PROGRAMME OR SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, LIMITATIONS APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Profit AI Lab from claims arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, infringement by materials you submit, or your commercial activities outside our control.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Calgary, Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your province of residence where applicable.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Material changes to enrolled learners will be communicated by email where practicable. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless prohibited by law.

16. Severability & entire agreement

If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These Terms, together with enrolment confirmations, privacy policy, and signed corporate agreements, form the entire agreement regarding Site use and standard programmes.

17. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, utility outages, public health directives, labour disputes, or third-party platform failures. Where a cohort cannot run as scheduled, we will offer rescheduling or remedies consistent with Section 6.
